After a few line-up changes, the band started working on its material, in a more intensive and professional direction & form.Atmospheric Black Metal Band Lord Koder - vocals and gore Dimrost - Keyboards and myths Gardom - Guitars blasphemy Avicious - Guitars torment Seelenfolter - Black heart bass Van Helsing - Drums and battery Albums Ancient Hymns of Legends & Lore /Demo 1996 Archives of an Enchanted Philosophy - 1997 Unveil the Curtain of Sanity /EP 2004] The Nightmarish Compositions - 2006  In December 1995, "Bishop of Hexen" entered the studios to record its debut demo tape: "Ancient Hymns of Legends & Lore", it saw light in the breaking of the New Year of 1996. The demo tape got extremely good response from the world wide underground metal scene, and was completely sold out at 450 copies. Numerous record labels where interested in signing the band for a record deal and finally "Bishop of Hexen" signed with "HammerHeart Productions" for one full length album opus. In July 1996 the band entered the studios once again, and released its full length album masterpiece in April 1997, entitled: "Archives of an Enchanted Philosophy", presenting 8 tracks of the most emotional, atmospheric & melodic black-metal art ever released. After seven years of silence, In the end of 2003 "Bishop of Hexen" was formed once again, featuring 2 new band members: Lord Koder- vocals and Ariel.E- guitars. During June 2004, "Bishop of Hexen" recorded a promo Cd, entitled "Unveil the Curtain of Sanity". The promo contained 4 new tracks of Atmospheric Melodic Black-Metal in its highest degree. The promo Cd was released for promotional purposes only and was highly appraised by record labels & magazines around the metal scene. In early 2005, "Bishop of Hexen" has signed a three-album deal with the Austrian metal label CCP Records and a new member joined the band: Seelenfolter on bass guitar.
