BAND HISTORY

Technical Doom trio DARK QUARTERER self published the 1987 'Dark Quarterer' before signing to Cobra Records for 1988's 'The Etruscan Prophecy' album. Guitarist Fulberto Serena was replaced by Sandro Tersetto for the 1994 album ‘War Tears’. DARK QUARTERER would announce a comeback album, ‘Violence’on the Andromeda label, for July 2002. The band now cited a line up of Gianni Nepi on lead vocals and bass, Francesco Sozzi on guitar and drummer Paolo Ninci.

DARK QUARTERER reunited in 2004 to participate in the July, Domegliara '1980's Italian Metal Legions Attack' festival alongside a nostalgic billing of EXILE, SPITFIRE, CRYING STEEL, GUNFIRE, DARK AGES and X HERO. The debut album would see a limited edition re-release by the Eat Metal label that same year.
